For the first time in history, the U.S. Supreme Court has issued a definitive ruling on the right of Americans to own guns. So it's now unconstitutional to prevent a convicted felon from owning a firearm? This might come back to bite us...
OJ
I read the decision and can find nothing that changes the fact that convicted felons can not own or posses fire arms. Federal registration is unaffected. They simply stated that federal, state, county or cities can not prevent the legal purchase and ownership of fire arms. Key word being legal.
